Horsemanship Clinics - Confidence Building Series-
In this horse riding clinic you can come out and join us for 5 hours of horse time. Come learn and build confidence on and around horses. during these clinics you will groom, handle, tack, and ride one of our very gentle horses. Horses and equipment are provided, just pack a lunch and come enjoy horseback riding with the backdrop of the scenic mountains above Ojai in Ventura county's backcountry.

For the cost of a private lesson, you get 5 hours of horsetime at our ranch.

Ages 8+ to adult. Come add your smile to growing photo file of happy people who have enjoyed our monthly confidence building clinic. First time riders welcome too.

Horse Riding Clinic - Skills Building Series
This is the next step in our clinics. Designed for those who are ready move on from the Confidence Building Series. This clinic will build on skills learned and head out for a trail ride. Limited class size to 6 participants.
Pack a lunch and come spend 5 hours learning ride our calm horses. $75

Introduction to bridleless and liberty work for the everyday rider
Come out and enjoy your horse and great food and drink! Bring your horse (all breeds welcome) and spend three days here at our ranch in the beautiful Ventura county mountains. This clinic is for all levels of riders. Let me help you better communicate with your horse. Whether this is your first horse, or you are a seasoned rider, I can help you achieve the next level of horsemanship.
The focus of this clinic will be
Gaited breeds - improving your horse's gait and your relationship with your horse
All breeds - improving your horse's biomechanics under saddle, while improving your relationship with your steed.
All breeds -Intro to bridleless and liberty work. Don't worry, if you are not ready to go bridleless, there are other important skills to build for all levels of rider.
Equine Activities will include -
-hoofball games
-obstacle course
-trail rides
-arena work under saddle and in hand
Other activities-
Friday night social - bring your favorite libation. Appetizers and other refreshments provided.
Saturday- enjoy a country breakfast, fruit, light snacks, followed by a delicious meal and of course cocktails.
Sunday - country breakfast and fruit and lunch provided.
All for $400

Arrival day. 3-6pm arrival-horse rider evaluation activities-7pm bring you favorite bottle of wine (or other libation) and enjoy apps and evening social
Saturday April 26
Enjoy country breakfast Horse/rider activities
improving relationships through ground work
undersaddle games
lightness and how the horse uses his body
obstacles and communication
hoofball - intro to the 36" giant soccer ball. followed by game of hoofball
Dinner - delicious food served with wonderful wine pairings. Menu TBA
